3 Days of Samhain

We honour those who have gone, our ancestors, our lineages, our loved ones, our own aspects and phases of life that fell behind.

We light candles in our inner cemeteries and turn them into altars; the soft glimmer illuminates our landscapes.

We bare to the bone making a bonfire out of the pile of what we need no more. We embrace our shadows. Holding a lantern in our hand, We watch and greet the glow.

The falling leaves and nature teach us to appreciate decay, darkness, death. That it’s a journey, a transition – we learn when we are no longer afraid of them.

Make your rituals. Honour your “dead”. Carry it all forward in your life.

The veil is thinning…within ourselves.
